Un an și un pic (aprilie 2024 – mai 2025), 44 de piese de teatru (43 de titluri, o piesă cu două distribuții) și peste 21 de mii de fotografii – cam așa se poate rezuma proiectul on stage. Împreună cu maestrul Dinu Lazăr, cu ajutorul lui Răzvan Penescu și pentru Liternet, am dus la bun final un proiect foto destul de provocator.

Teatrul este o lume aparte iar repetițiile finale sau șnururile unde am fotografiat reprezintă un melanj între lumea de pe scenă, construită cu multă migală și plină de emoții și realitatea pură unde există întreruperi sau căderi; între lumea artistică și cea tehnică. Mi-a plăcut mult să mă apropii de ceea ce a făcut tata, având drept mijloc de comunicare aparatul de fotografiat!

44 de piese și 44 de experiențe, niciuna nu s-a asemănat cu cealaltă! Nu am lipsit sau întârziat, am avut mereu emoții și mi-am dorit să iasă totul foarte bine de 44 de ori…

A year and a bit (april 2024 – may 2025), 44 theatre productions (43 titles, one play with two casts), and over 21,000 photographs – that’s how the on stage project can be summed up. Together with master photographer Dinu Lazăr, with the invaluable support of Răzvan Penescu, and for Liternet, we brought to completion a photographic journey that was as demanding as it was rewarding.

Theatre is a world unto itself, and the final rehearsals or dress runs where I was allowed to photograph revealed a fascinating intersection: the carefully crafted, emotionally charged world of the stage and the raw, unpredictable reality of backstage moments – with all their pauses, glitches, and technical intricacies. A space where two worlds meet: the artistic and the technical. I cherished the chance to connect with what my father did, using the camera as my own form of expression.

44 plays, 44 unique experiences – no two were alike. I was present every time, never late, with lot of emotions, and always hopeful that everything would turn out beautifully… 44 times.
